What Curfew stores on your device

• Your schedules — the start and end times you set, and which days they run.
• Your app selection — see the section on Screen Time below. iOS gives Curfew an opaque token for each app you pick, not a name or an identifier we can read.
• Your nightly record — for each curfew: whether it completed, how many times you started an unlock, and how many of those you cancelled. This is what the morning summary is drawn from.
• Your settings and purchase state — the friction duration, notification preferences, and whether Curfew Pro has been unlocked.

This data is stored in Curfew's own container and in a shared App Group (group.com.devjihwan.thinkfree) so that the widget, Live Activity and blocking extension can read the current state. It is not backed up to any service we operate. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud, this data is included in your own Apple backup under Apple's terms, not ours.

Screen Time (Family Controls)

Curfew asks for Screen Time authorization so it can block apps during the hours you choose. This is Apple's Family Controls framework, and it is deliberately built so that developers cannot see what it protects:

• When you pick apps to block, iOS returns opaque tokens. Curfew can pass a token back to iOS to say "block this", but it cannot resolve a token into an app name, a bundle ID, or an icon.
• Curfew cannot read your usage data — not which apps you open, not for how long, not how often you pick up your phone.
• Curfew cannot see anything inside the apps it blocks. It only tells iOS when the shield should be up.

You can revoke this authorization at any time in iOS Settings → Screen Time, or by deleting the app.

What Curfew does not collect

• No name, email address, phone number, or account of any kind.
• No advertising identifier (IDFA). Curfew shows no ads and contains no advertising SDK.
• No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Curfew keeps a small diagnostic log in memory on the device to help it recover from interrupted states; it is never transmitted and is discarded when the app closes.
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health, or calendar data. Curfew does not request these permissions.
• No tracking across apps or websites. Curfew does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to track you with.

Purchases

Curfew Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells Curfew only whether the purchase is currently valid for your Apple Account. We never receive your payment method, billing address, or Apple Account details. "Restore purchases" asks Apple to re-confirm that entitlement; it sends nothing to us. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Notifications and Live Activities

If you allow notifications, Curfew schedules them locally on your device — there is no push server, and we cannot send you anything. Live Activities and widgets read the same on-device state and display it on your Lock Screen; that content is rendered by iOS on your device and is not transmitted.

Children

Curfew is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If Curfew is set up on a child's device by a parent or guardian, the schedules and history stay on that device.

Deleting your data

Because nothing is stored off your device, deleting the app deletes everything — schedules, history and settings. Your purchase remains tied to your Apple Account and can be restored if you reinstall. There is no request to file and no account to close.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Curfew ever collects data, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current policy.
