At the hour you set, the apps stop opening. Turning it off costs five minutes of waiting — long enough to change your mind. Phone, Messages and Maps stay open the whole time.

How it works

Pick the apps and the window. 23:00 to 07:00, weeknights only — whatever your night actually looks like.
When the window opens, iOS blocks them. Not a reminder, not a nudge: they do not open.
Want out? You can have it — after five minutes on a screen that counts down and tells you what you are about to reopen. Cancelling is the big button.
In the morning: how long the lock held, and how many times you decided not to break it.

What it won't pretend

Curfew is not unbreakable. Anyone can wait out five minutes, and anyone can delete the app. What it does is put time between the urge and the tap — which is the part that actually changes the outcome.

Privacy

No servers, no accounts, no ads, no analytics. Your schedules and your history never leave your iPhone. Apple's Screen Time framework means Curfew cannot even see which apps you chose — only opaque tokens it hands back to iOS.
